Happy new year! I hope you all had a a chance to rest and recuperate in between all that festive partying!

 

To kick off with the first blog post of 2012, I would like to share some images from Manle and David’s wedding.

We were really lucky with the weather as It was raining right up until the day before the big day… by the time of the ceremony, the skies had cleared and we were treated to beautiful afternoon sun… perfect!

Let’s start with the morning; the girls made their preparations at Manle’s place while the guys were at David’s.

 

Then I saw this… I couldn’t help but stop and have a chuckle :) I especially like Joey’s comment: “Happy Marriage and have baby ASAP” He He! :)

 

Almost ready and looking very pretty! Jenny from Le Fabulous did a great job on the hair and makeup!

 

David arrived for a Chinese tradition, the tea ceremony… lucky for David, he didn’t have to endure the other Chinese tradition, the opening door games!

 

Then it was onto the ceremony at Hickson Road reserve…

 

The handsome guys, and the beautiful girls… we had so many laughs that afternoon!

 

The reception was held at the excellent Sky Phoenix where the guests were treated to a seafood banquet and live music…

 

A big congratulations to you Manle and David! and remember, Happy Marriage and have baby ASAP!!! :)

Sometimes things just come together so well…

Clear skies, cool breeze, warm afternoon sun and a cute couple…

I like how Nathalie is a little serious, a little shy, but always composed; and despite being nervous infront of the camera, it never showed.

Simon is super easy going and a really nice guy.

 

It was such a fun session; we spent most of the afternoon chatting about anything and everything, and I was able to learn so much about these two. It was funny that a couple of times Nathalie and Simon looked at each other and said “Hey I didn’t know that about you!” :)

 

Thanks guys! I’m really glad we met… Your May wedding seems far too long to wait!
