Evon & Derek – Little Bay Chapel – Westin Hotel

Beautiful… absolutely beautiful…

Last weekend I was blessed with the opportunity to capture Evon & Derek’s wedding… What an amazing start to 2011!

I have known Evon since first year uni (let’s just say it was a very long time ago!); but since graduating and returning to her home in Hong Kong, sadly I got to see very little of her.

Naturally I was excited to hear that Evon and her fiance Derek were coming back to Sydney to get married; I was even more excited when I was asked to be the wedding photographer!

I only met Derek about a week ago; but from what I had heard about him, I had already worked out he’s a super cool guy… I mean, he is a guitarist in a rock band (Airtub)… you don’t get much cooler than that!

Early that morning I made my way out to the city; the wedding day preparations were at Fraser suites in the CBD:

Then it was onto the ceremony at the Little Bay Chapel, overlooking the clear skies and blue water of Little Bay.

Location shots in the afternoon were at La Perouse, and the Sydney CBD.

Derek recently bought a Sigma DP2 camera; he brought this with him everywhere he went:)

Look at how happy Evon is!

We got some beautiful afternoon sun inside the GPO:

Eeeeevon and Deeeerek sitting under the tree…. K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

Then it was onto an intimate reception with Evon and Derek’s closest family and friends at Mosaic in the Westin Hotel.

Congratulations Evon and Derek! Thank you for making me a part of your special day, I truly enjoyed every single moment of it!

P.S. A big thank you to Mathew for assisting me on the day (he was recovering from the flu); and a big thank you to Yukari for doing an awesome make up and hair job for Evon.

My little sister grows up

Happy new year everyone!

I’m about to dive back into it this weekend with my first wedding of 2011; but before I do that, I thought I would share a shot of a gorgeous ring…

This shiny rock belongs to my little sister… she had an extra special xmas with her boyfriend and they are now engaged!

Wow! My little sister is growing up!

Congratulations!:)

Happy Holidays!

As 2010 draws to an end, I would like to thank all of you for your support this year. It is you that makes all this possible!

I wish you all a very Merry Xmas and a totally AWESOME new year!

Have lots of fun over the xmas break and stay safe!

See you in 2011 when we’ll do this all again!
