Alice

Here are a few pictures from a recent portrait session with Alice.

Sydney weather has been unpredictable lately and I seem to have a really good track record for choosing overcast and rainy days to do my shoots!

I was hoping for some beautiful afternoon sun for this one, but unfortunately it was not to be…

We had only managed a few shots before the clouds rolled in, it started raining, and it was time to pack up and go home.

Luckily, Alice was a joy to work with:)

Hopefully the sun doesn’t continue hiding for too much longer!

Amara & Mathew – Cabarita Park, Le Montage

Amara and Mathew’s wedding… one word: WOW!

I always have a lot of fun at weddings, but so far, none have even come close to amount of fun I had at Amara and Mat’s this weekend!

It was Awesome! there were times I found it hard to shoot as I was too busy laughing!

Amara and Mat are a beautiful couple: so real, so natural, so bubbly. The bridal party couldn’t let a minute go by without making a funny face, cracking a joke, or singing “it’s a small world after all!!!” (alright.. maybe thats one of those ‘you had to be there’ moments!)

The morning started at the Sebel Suites at Chatswood where Amara and the bridesmaids were preparing for the big day. Then I went to Mat’s apartment where the guys were getting ready; a few quick shots and it was over to Cabarita Park for the ceremony. No shortage of hugs and kisses here!

The weather was looking a bit doubtful at times, but managed to hold up; which was just as well because a suprise boat cruise was organised for the bridal party! During the 2 hour ride, there was plenty of alcohol, jokes and clowning around…. oh and I think we went out to see the Sydney harbour bridge too, but that’s probably a minor detail!

Everyone was then dropped off at the wharf outside Le Montage at Leichhardt for the reception (at The Marquee).

The speeches were emotional and funny, the food excellent, and there was hours of dancing… Even after such a long day, the bridal party was on such a high that they were still strutting their stuff at 12am!

Thank you Amara and Mat for the opportunity to capture this amazing day! All the best for your new life as Mr and Mrs!

I’ve included a few pictures below:
