Nicole & Agostino – Our Lady of Victories – Daltone House

I remember when Nicole first described the wedding plans to me: her words softly spoken, her tone calm…

We had only just met, perhaps Nicole was a little shy, but her eyes gave it away; they contained so much excitement! As we continued to chat, I learned all about how Nicole and Tino met, how they work together, how Tino proposed, and how perfect their big day was going to be…

About a month ago as we sat down over mud cake and iced chocolate to plan the schedule for the day. Nicole asked Tino to step outside before saying to me with the biggest smile on her face “And I’m going to surprise him!” (more about this later)… is it strange that I was just as excited about the day as they were?:)

It was a beautiful wedding; one filled with fun, laughter, tears, endless hugs and kisses, and many many special moments.

I had a really hard time selecting the images for this blog post; I couldn’t just choose a few… how could I?

Firstly, a big thank you to my good friend Ben from BNG Photo for being my second shooter for the day. We were also working alongside Euro Video who did the video coverage. Thanks guys, you were great to work with.

The morning started for me at Nicole’s home, while Ben went to Tino’s place to cover the guys getting ready:

We then went to the Our Lady of Victories Parish at Horsley Park for the ceremony:

We were a little tight on time, but still managed to take some nice post ceremony photos:

It was then onto Daltone House at Jones Bay Wharf for the reception:

The first dance… nothing rehearsed, just two people in love who simply did not want to let go of each other… magical…

Nicole then surprised Tino by changing dresses and dancing with him a second time…

Tino had the most touching look on his face as his beautiful wife met him on the dancefloor for the second time that evening.

Entertainment for the evening was by Jason Jackson. It’s the first time I’ve seen Jason perform, and I must say: this guy is good!!!

Tino’s dad had arranged for a surprise of his own… midway through the reception, the guests were all asked to make their way to the balcony. No one knew what to expect… and then it happened…

Amazing!

Back inside and everyone hit the dancefloor!

Nicole and her dad had the final dance of the evening… these two photos really show how powerful those few minutes were:

And then they said their goodbyes and left as husband and wife…

No words can describe how memorable this day was for me…

Thank you Nicole and Tino…

Carmen & Michael – McKell Park – Tea room QVB

Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the lack of blog posts lately but I’ve been absolutely swamped! Both photography and non photography related!

I just wanted to drop by briefly and share a few of my favourites from Carmen and Michael’s recent wedding.

The ceremony was held at McKell Park overlooking Sydney Harbour; then it was onto the classy Tea Room at the QVB for the reception.

QVB is such a pretty place to shoot, I just love the interior and how it makes for some interesting compositions!

Hope you like these!

I promise to post again soon with some more of my recent work!

Aimee & Davin

Meet Aimee and Davin. They’re twins, and they just turned 1.

I never thought I would use the word sophisticated to describe a one year old, but Davin is definitely looking very smart and sophisticated in that shirt and vest!

Aimee is shy, but totally adorable!:)
